What is hatha yoga?
Hatha represents opposing energies: hot and cold (fire and water, following similar concept as yin-yang), male and female, positive and negative.

Relaxation and meditation
Hatha yoga attempts to balance mind and body via physical postures or asanas, purification practices, controlled breathing, and the calming of the mind through relaxation and meditation.

Poise, balance and strength

Asanas teach poise, balance and strength and are practised to improve the body’s physical health and clear the mind in preparation for meditation in the pursuit of enlightenment.

How much does it cost?
All classes cost just €10 in December.

  4. Hi Evelyn,

may have replied previously. Hope you have found us.
Taking bookings now for January courses; 10 weeks for EUR 99

Coming from Dublin City Centre, cross over Portobello Bridge heading into Rathmines. About 100 metres up the road on the left you will see a church with a large dome, and opposite that a large sports green. This is our venue; St. Mary’s College. On the right hand side is a Spar shop and there is a right turn here, Military Road. Go down this road; the entrance to the school is on the right. Go into the school grounds and proceed into the courtyard behind the main building. There’s a large car park here and you’ll see the sports centre in front on you.

    Kind regards,
    Stuart
