Ashtanga Yoga
Classes: Tuesday Evening 6.45pm-8.00pm

What is Ashtanga Yoga?
Ashtanga yoga is suitable for those that have already taken beginner’s level yoga classes. The focus in this class is on learning proper alignment through key yoga poses and developing body and breath awareness.

Build heat, strength and concentration
Based on the Ashtanga system, these flowing classes link postures with the breath in a strong and challenging physical practice that is designed to build heat, strength, flexibility and concentration. Each class follows a different sequence, often to music, creating a sustained meditative flow and closes with a relaxation period.

Develop balance and flexibility
In coming weeks, we will seek to examine the balance between effort and surrender, by listening to our bodies as we move in postures, known and unknown. and learning how to know when to back off when the going gets tough. This vinyasa class will act as a perfect compliment to those who wish to improve their flexibility, or whom, perhaps are involved in other sports or training programmes. It is also ideal for those who wish to develop their own home yoga practice.

How much does it cost?
Value for money. All welcome to pre-book or take one-step-at-a-time and drop-in when you can.

Ashtanga class drop-in just €10 in December.
